Available for any size property over most wiring schemes, the COM3000 is ideal for properties with large room counts where property owners don’t want a receiver for each TV.

H25 Analog Swap Program at no extra cost to properties

An eligible Hospitality & Institutions establishment has the opportunity to swap all its SD equipment to HD equipment at no cost, while still being able to view SD programming. Properties that take the Analog Swap Program must agree to a new 5-year commitment period and subscribe to FAMILY™ Pack or above.

What type of equipment do I need for my hotel, dorm or hospital ?

DIRECTV® offers scalable, cost- and space-efficient technology solutions that can grow with your business needs. Unlike other commercial installations that require one receiver per television, commercial lodging and institution installations require a dedicated receiver for each channel selected. Commercial receivers are maintained in a centralized location and are connected to each television on the premises though cable drops.

What are subscriber units ?

The price for the DIRECTV® service at your hotel, dorm or hospital is calculated by a total number of subscriber units. Depending on the type of property you own, subscriber units could be Guest rooms, televisions or cable drops connected to the DIRECTV System network. Hotels, Motels, B&B: Total number of Guest rooms. Hospital, Seniors Living: Total number of televisions on premises in patient rooms. Dorms, Offices, Mobile Home, Campground, Correctional Facilities: Total number of cable drops connected to DIRECTV System network.

What DIRECTV® programming is available for hotels, dorms and hospitals?

DIRECTV® offer a variety of Commercial Lodging & Institutions packages for hotels, dorms, and hospitals. Plus, you can add over 50 channels — ranging from ESPN HD to Discovery Health Channel to BabyFirstTV — without a base package. Also, many premium movie channels, like HBO® and SHOWTIME®, and international TV packages are available a la carte.

What is DIRECTV®'s COM3000? What does it cost?

The COM3000 is a centralized technology system that distributes DIRECTV® service to your customers. Special equipment subsidies are available for HD entertainment systems*, including the COM3000. Call us to learn more.

What is the downtime associated with installing the COM3000?
